According to the National Communications Authority,NCA it has authorized 505 radio stations but only 392 out of the 505 are currently operational.
However, among the 392 radio stations in operation, Controversial Ghanaian dancehall musician Charles Nii Armah popularly called Shatta Wale has revealed that Asaase 99.5 Radio is the best and number one radio station in the country.
