Sogakofe SHS 60th AnniversaryÂ
SOSA Planning Committee in collaboration with PTA and management of Sogakofe Senior High School (SOGASCO) popularly known as the Lower Volta Varsity have released proposed Dates and Programme outline for Sogakofe SHS 60th anniversary.
The long awaited 60th Anniversary celebration has been scheduled for a week on campus starting from 20th November, 2022 to 26th November 26, 2022 with lots of activities throughout the week.
The Sogakofe Senior High School which was established in November, 1961 will be 60 years on 26th November, 2022.
According to 60th Anniversary Planning Committee and management of the School, the occasion will have in attendance some top government officials, old students, among other key stakeholders within the South Tongu District, Volta Region and beyond.

Monday, 21st November, 2022

1. General cleaning by students

1. Tour of important places by Sogasco Old Students Association (SOSA) /Board/ Management of the school.

Candlelight procession through Sogakope town.

Anniversary Lunch: Pork Chops, yam fries and drink.
• Location – SOSANS at Seman Lodge
• Special Invited Guest – Various locations assigned at Shekina Glory Hotel and Residency for Government Officials.

a. Students Musical concert at the dinning hall by an old student – Evening program from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.
b. Dinner Night with Live band at Cisneros for SOSANs and all stakeholders.

The Planning Committee and management of the school encourage all past students of the school and parents to purchase paraphernalia of the 60th anniversary.
SOSANS are encouraged to show interest and start mobilizing funds at year group levels before the end of September 2022.
