Ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament which is scheduled to happen in Qatar, Senior Coach of the Ghana national team, the Black Stars, has announced his 26 man squad for the tournament.
This new development has been met with mixed reactions as some citizens believe there are other players who should have made the list but didn’t.
Sports journalists, media personalities and football lovers have all raised concerns over the squad to represent Ghana and one such personality to voice out his thoughts on the squad list is award winning Ghanaian musician, Livingstone Etse Satekla popularly known as Stonebwoy.

In a tweet, Stonebwoy reacted to the Squad list released saying that it is one of a pay to play affair and he went further on to tag and ask the Ghana Football Association why things are like this in our football too.
According to Stonebwoy, there are players who are supposed to be in the Black Stars squad who are not here because of #PayToPlay.
In as much as most citizens and social media users back him, others equally disagree and have called him out for accusing the Ghana Football Association.
