“Stop charging illegal fees” – NUGS Cautions UHAS Management

The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) has called on the management of University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) to halt charging illegal fees.

According to NUGS, University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) is charging outrageous and exorbitant fees which is
above the 15% Parliament approved.

NUGS President Dennis Appiah Larbi-Ampofo in a statement today, 16th January 2023 promised to take the next action on illegal charging of fees by universities.

His statement reads:

This week I promised that it’s a full case for UHAS and UG.

Until management decides to follow the law , we will continue to dig for the data and the facts that shows the world the deliberately orchestrated actions to charge students illegal fees .

Attached are the fees from UHAS , maybe they will come and deny these too !
The other excuses hurt the more .

We have passed the stage where the student front swallowed everything thrown at us , now we will research, analyze the data and resist oppression.

Trust me , If the needful is not done ASAP, Ho will be an interesting place to be in the coming days!.
