According to a report from footballtransfers.com, Thomas Partey, the Ghanaian midfielder, has expressed his desire to leave Arsenal to manager Mikel Arteta. Partey is reportedly unwilling to play a secondary role in the upcoming season and has requested the club’s assistance in finding him a new team.
Reluctantly, Arteta has agreed to let Partey depart under the condition that a satisfactory transfer fee can be obtained. Initial discussions have taken place with clubs in Saudi Arabia and Juventus, but no concrete offers have materialized at this point.
