The Black Stars Midfielder Thomas Teye Partey cum Arsenal Midfielder leaves to London for medical treatment following his consistent injury.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) confirm that Thomas Partey has been granted permission to fly to London for further assessment after the injury he picked up in the warm up before the Ghana Vs. Brazil game on Friday, 23rd September, 2022 in France.
He is expected back in London for scans on his knee which flaired up before the Ghana- Brazil Friendly last Night
By the time this international break is over Thomas Partey would have played a paltry 25% of games under Coach Otto Addo.
He is extremely talented and makes a difference on the pitch, but at this point Ghana have to look at a contingency plan. Clearly, Ghana can’t head to Qatar relying on Thomas Partey due to his consistent knee injury.
It’s likely that, Thomas Partey will miss Ghana’s friendly against Nicaragua on Tuesday. The medical team are confident he will be fine.
