Two armed robbers shot dead at Buduburam during shootout

Some Officers of the Ghana Police Service has gun down Two (2) suspected armed robbers of the caprice robbery. From the Ghana Police service, this attack was connected to the robbery at caprice on 9th December 2022.
This shootout is believed to happen on Monday dawn at Buduburam lorry station in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
According to the Police, the robbers were chased out of their hideout which lead to the shoot-out between them and the anti-robbery squad.

During the shootout, two (2) of the robbers were shot dead and one anti-robbery police officer was shot in the thigh. Currently, the officer is receiving treatment at the hospital.

The anti-robbery squad successfully apprehended one of the robbers and has seized a motorbike with a registered number M-22 GW 5054.

According to some witnesses, whilst the Police successfully gun down two (2) of the robbers, the other two (2) successfully escaped the arrest.
