Volta Region NDC Women Organizer Monitors Voter Registration Exercise

The Electoral Commission of Ghana has embarked on a process to identify eligible citizens who will then elect their Members of Parliament and the President of the republic.

As mandated by political parties to exercise oversight role to ensure that right things are done at all gazetted registration centers and party agents well motivated, the role of the Volta Regional Women Organizer of the great NDC in perspective.

The NDC Volta Regional Women Organizer, monitored registration at all fourteen registration centers in phase one batch two of registration centers dotted around four traditional areas of North Tongu namely; Dorfor, Fodzoku, Torgorme, and Volo.

Doing that, the former North Tongu DCE distributed assorted foodstuffs, Nose masks, hand sanitizers. The Constituency received hundred bags of pure water from her which was shared among registrants just as she did during phase one of registration.

At EC’s controversial SHS illegal registration centers, Hon. Fafa Delphia Agbai toured some of these schools. There, she took the opportunity to encourage the students to learn extra hard to pass their examination with distinction. Without mincing words she has asked them to overwhelmly vote for John & Jane in the impending presidential polls, not forgetting NDC’S aspiring member of parliament for the area, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.

Earlier on Thursday, she took part in emergency Constituency meeting organised under the authorship of the Constituency chairmen. Agenda was to revise the Constituency’s strategy deployed at the beginning of the registration exercise and her impact was spectacular.

She look forward to monitor more events in the expanded registration centers starting Sunday.
