Ghana’s striker, Inaki Williams who excitedly made his debut appearance for the nation in the international friendly against Brazil has spoken about the Ghana national team and his expectations for the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament. He also talked about how long he has followed and shared in the victories and losses of the Ghana national team.
Inaki Williams in an interview with Marca said “When Asamoah Gyan missed the penalty against Uruguay I got very sad because I lived through that World Cup a lot, very involved with Ghana. We can do great things in the World Cup. It is not an easy group, but there is a very powerful team. We can surprise anyone. We’re not favorites and that’s good for us.”
Iñaki Williams Arthuer is a professional football player who plays for the Ghana national team on the international level. He also plays as a striker for the La Liga club, Athletic Bilbao.
He switched nationality to play for the Ghana national team in 2021 and made his debut appearance for the country in 2022 during the international friendly match between Ghana and Brazil ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.
