The Confederation stated that some selected two (2) nations will host the tournament to kick-start their new development.
The slated first two (2) host nations for FIFA’s “changed plan” annual tournament are as follows:
Qatar will host FIVE men’s U-17 World Cups (2025 – 2029), expanded to 48 teams.
Morocco will host FIVE Women’s U-17 World Cups (2025 – 2029), expanded to 24 teams.
The change in how the FIFA tournament will be rolled according to the masses is a great idea because it will make sure that talented youths are developed and shown to the world. Also, it will capture more talent than the current format used by FIFA.
The FIFA president has indeed shown impeccable leadership needed in the sports fraternity which is the wish of many hearts. The expansion of participation teams in the tournament has also called for a thumbs-up.
The new format will take into consideration a lot of youth in football thereby making them place value and development as the topmost priority for their career.
Countries with better youth systems will always triumph in this regard making them gain the best of all they need.
