Battor Catholic Hospital appeals for support for Paediatric Ward

The Roman Catholic Hospital, Battor is appealing for support towards the Paediatric Ward of the Hospital.

According to the hospital, they are in serious need of some major hospital equipment to help smooth and effective delivery of health care at the Paediatric Ward.

Speaking on behalf of the Hospital management, Dr. Angela C. Lee appealed to individuals to assist the hospital’s Paediatric Ward with key equipment such as:

1. Bubble Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (B-CPAP)

2.  Fire-fly phototherapy machine and

3. Baby cots.

Dr. Angela C. Lee explained that, the equipment among others when donated to the Hospital will help the Nurses and Doctors improve on their health care delivery.

She made the appeal after she received some Christmas gift from the Management of the Amumanyo Ventures and Foundation on 28th December, 2021 within the premises of the ward.

In an interview with Coverghana.com.gh, Dr. Angela C. Lee has also appealed to the well-meaning citizens of the area and benevolence to assist the Hospital institute money fund for the needy.

The Paediatric Ward of Roman Catholic Hospital, Battor has a General Ward capacity of sixty (60) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of twenty-two (22) making a total of eighty-two (82) Ward capacity.
