Central Tongu DCE takes covid-19 vaccine; Encourages constituents to do same
Hon. Thomas Moore Zonyrah receives covid-19 vaccine
The Central Tongu District Chief Executive Hon. Thomas Moore Zonyrah has taken his covid-19 vaccine following the nationwide rollout exercise.
The DCE was the first person to receive the covid-19 vaccine in the Central Tongu District of the Volta Region on Friday, 26th March, 2021.
Thomas Moore Zonyrah has also taken the opportunity on behalf of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the Volta Regional Minister Hon. Yao Archibald Letsa to launched the vaccines in the District.

In at a short ceremony to officially launch the vaccine in the District, he has disclosed that, Central Tongu District is one of the first Districts in the Volta Region to have built a covid-19 management centre which caters for other sister Districts.
“I just took the jab and am happy I did and it is very safe. I encourage everyone in the district to take advantage of the opportunity when the time comes for the public to take the jab” He said.
