A total of thirty-eight (38) Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executive (MMDCE) female nominees have been announced to be in charge of the local government business at Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s second government.
The list as intercepted by Coverghana.com.gh have female nominees across the Country except Ahafo, and Western North Regions.
On Sunday, 19th September, 2021, the Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Dan Kwaku Botwe has released full list of MMDCE nominees.
A total of two hundred and sixty (260) MMDCE nominees were appointed by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, of which thirty-eight (38) are females and the remaining two hundred and twenty-two (222) are males.

On the list, a total of one hundred and twenty-eight (128) out of two hundred and sixty (260) MMDCEs were retained by the President.
The Minister at the press conference said, the final list has been forwarded to the sixteen (16) Administrative Regions for onward submission to the Jean Mensah-led Election Commission (EC) for the commencement of the various Assembly Elections to confirm the president’s nominees.
