Ghana Education Service (GES) has confirmed receipt for payment of Capitation Grant to Schools across the country.
In a statement, the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES) Dr. Eric Nkansah has brought to the attention of Regional Directors on the payment of the Capitation Grants to schools.

Dr. Eric Nkansah has directed that, fifty percent (50%) of the Capitation Grant should be used to conduct end of third term examination for schools.
The Director-General cautions that, no school management should use more than fifty percent (50%) of the Capitation Grant for the conduct of the third term examination.

According to GES, the remaining amount should be sent to the schools for the running of schools by Headteachers.
