Koku Anyidoho justifies the Military invasion of Parliament; says the military should not be blamed

The founder of the Atta Mills Institute, Mr. Samuel Koku Anyidoho has justified the military invasion of Parliament on 7th January, 2021.

In justifying the act, Mr. Koku Anyidoho said that on the dawn of 7th December, 2021, the behavior of some MPs was un-parliamentary which caused the military to step in.

According to him, the military should not be blamed for stepping in to restore sanity because if they had not, the country couldn’t have swear-in the President.

In a tweet, Mr. Samuel Koku Anyidoho said

“When some MPs decided to chew ballot papers and act in un-parliamentary ways in the chamber of Parliament on the day we were expected to swear-in the President & Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, why should the military be blamed for stepping-in to restore sanity?”
