Management of the National Teaching Council has released final centres and dates for distribution of the Ghana Teacher License to all qualified teachers in the country.
In a letter addressed to the Director General of the Ghana Education Service (GES) Professor Kwesi Opoku-Amankwa, licensing and registration of all qualified Ghanaian teachers are mandatory.

According to the Registrar of the National Teaching Council (NTC) Christian Addai Poku (PhD), as part of processes for teacher professionalization, the National Teaching Council (NTC) is issuing license to all qualified teachers in both public and private schools in Ghana.
TEACHERS WHO HAVE RECEIVED THEIR TEACHERS PROFESSIONAL LICENSE
According to the National Teaching Council, teachers in Greater Accra and Central Regions have been issued with teachers professional license, as you are already aware.

PREPARATION TOWARDS THE MASS DISTRIBUTION OF TEACHERS LICENSE
Christian Addai Poku has requested the approval and coordination of the Director-General of Ghana Education Service for the National Teaching Council to engage the Regional and District Directors to prepare the grounds before the main exercise commences.
NTC has also appealed to Management of GES to communicate the new schedule to all GES staff ahead of the mass distribution exercise. “It would be highly appreciated if this could be brought to the attention of all the directors concerned.”
The schedule below indicates the period within which the licensing
exercise will take place in each region.
