The Management of the National Teaching Council following their earlier release has, announced the examination centres for the June 2020 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination.

According to the release, twenty-seven (27) new centre for the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination has been announced across eleven (11) regions.

Ashanti – 8 centres

Eastern – 1 centre

Greater Accra – 3 centers

Brong Ahafo – 3 centres

Volta – 2 centres

Central – 3 centres

Western North – 1 centre

Western – 2 centres

Northern – 2 centres

Upper East – 1 centre

Upper West – 1 centre

NTC releases timetable and guidelines for June 2020 Licensure Examination 

According to the National Teaching Council, all candidates who registered for the March 2020 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) which was postponed due to the covid-19 restriction, that their examination will be written on Sunday, 21st June, 2020 across all centres.

In a statement signed by the NTC public relations officer Mr. Dennis Osei-Owusu, each candidate will be writing three different papers thus; Numeracy, Literacy, Essential Professional Skills.

Also, the first paper shall start at exactly 8:30 a.m.

According to NTC, all candidates must endeavour to check their centres and report on time.

According to NTC, candidates at St, Louis, UENR and UCC Centre, Papafio shall receive text messages to confirm
their exact centres. They may also visit the registration portal using their login details.

Also, Numeracy shall start at exactly 9:00am and end at 10:45am.

Essential Professional Skills shall start at 11:45 am and end at 1:00 pm.

Literacy shall start at 2:00pm and end at 3:15pm

Adding to that, candidates shall not be permitted to write at any centre other than their assigned centres. Candidates shall wear face mask before, during and after each paper. Candidates shall follow all Covid-19 protocols including washing of hands, use of hand sanitizers and observance of social distance. Candidates shall be seated 30 minutes before the start of each paper.
