The Minister of National Security Albert Kan-Dapaah said the perception that judges are biased have dire consequences for national security. judges are biased have dire consequences for national security.
Addressing the Bench, Kan-Dapaah explained that, the absence of an effective justice delivery, delay or bias justice leads to injustice which runs in length to affect national security.

The Minister of National Security spoke into details and spew the real ground actions of the judiciary when cases are filed to seek the best verdict.
Speaking, he added that “indeed when injustice abounds particularly in situations where the Bench which is considered as the final arbitrager of disputes is deemed to be bias, citizens turn to put the law into their own hands most times without recalls to the established systems of justice delivery”

He reiterated that, the failure of the criminal justice system to ensure effective and trial of criminals adversely impart the moral of law and enforcement agencies.
Albert Kan-Dapaah further translates the way the judiciary handles cases where he attributed it breeding of more crimes and injustice exponentially.
“When the justice system isn’t fit enough to encompass all and treat cases with fair lens of scrutiny, it also emboldens criminals to perpetrate more crime and breads lawlessness among the citizenry.”
He noted that, to address domestic crimes in the country, they must ensure that the judicial system functions as expected and meant to be.

“If you do not have a judicial system that works, many people simply take the laws into their own hands and misbehave and do what dey want. In trying to manage the security situations, it is important for us get a working judicial system that can treat cases as it should be.” Albert Kan-Dapaah said.
He added that, Ghana is seen as one of the countries in the sub-regions that they perceived has a good judicial system and where you could expect justice.
