Counsellor Daniel Fenyi, who spoke to Kumawood TV last Thursday, has called on NAGRAT, GNAT, CCT and TEWU, to, as a matter of urgency, withdraw their poorly-grammared emotional and illogical joint letter they have put out in the public space.
Account to the renowned educationists and counsellor noted that, In the said letter issued by the Pre-Tertiary teacher unions, they have called on the government to “close down” schools because the “children are consigned to imminent death”.

Counsellor Daniel Fenyi, reacting to the letter, described the contents of the letter as extremely sensational and lacks good reasoning. To him, the 4 major teacher unions should apologise to the public for the undue fear and panic they have caused.

He insisted that the cases recorded in the SHSs are not as fearsome as some people, including the Unions, make it seem. The Counsellor also insisted that, in their current states, the average SHS campus is safer than the average home, street or market.

In addition, Counsellor Daniel also asked the general public to encourage and give positive vibes to the students who’ll be writing the WASSCE from Monday 20th July.
