Rebecca Foundation Donates 1000 bags of cement to Beauticians Association

The foundation of the first lady of the Republic of Ghana Mrs Rebecca Akufo Addo has made some donations to the Hairdressers and Beauticians Association.

The Rebecca foundation in collaboration with CBI Ghana Limited earlier today donated thousand (1000 ) bags of Cement to the Hairdressers and Beauticians Association to help build a Hairdressing school at Ashalaja Denhyira in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.

The donation was presented to the
Association by the Press Aide to the First
Lady, Mr. Richard Darko and the Managing
Directories for CBI Ghana Limited, Frederick
Albrecht. This donation was made in response to a request made by the Hairdressers and Beauticians Association to the Executive Director of the Rebecca Foundation, Mrs. Rebecca Naa Okaikor Akufo-Addo during their 10th Annual Salon Academy celebration in January 2020.

The Rebecca foundation which was established in 2017 has since it’s inception made many donations to associations and individuals such as; Kayayei, the aged, destitute, single mothers, the building of 21-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and 20-bed Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the Korlebu Teaching Hospital, coronavirus Relief boxes, donations to the SOS Village, donation of hospital beds, wheel chairs, ultrasound machines, a lung machine, microscopes, defibrillators, incubators, microwave ovens, refrigerators among others.
