Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that he has ordered Russia’s military to conduct a special operation in the Donbass region after the leaders of the self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Lugansk asked Moscow for military assistance in response to what they claim is an increase in “Ukrainian aggression.”
In a statement, Vladimir Putin has served notice that, his outfit has taken the decision to carry out a special military operation.
He explained that, its goal will be to defend people who for eight years are suffering persecution and genocide by the Kyiv regime. “For this we will aim for demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine” He added.

He again said, “… as well as taking to court those who carried out multiple bloody crimes against civilians including citizens of the Russian Federation. Our plans do not include occupying Ukrainian territory.
