President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says his New Patriotic Party led government has stabilized Ghana’s economy and also restored confidence in the economic bouyance of the state since assuming office on 7th January, 2016.
Preaident Akufo-Addo revealed this while speaking at his final State of the Nation Address in Parliament on 5th January, 2021 ahead of the dissolution of the 7th Parliament.
Nana Akufo-Addo reiterated that, he and his Vice Preaident Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia who were sworn into office on 7th January, 2016 received unstable and cramp economy from the National Democratic Congress’s Government led by former president John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking further, he said Free Senior High School (SHS) policy and TVET are now entrenched part of Education set-up since he assumed office.
Nana Addo again disclosed that, under the one District on Factory (1D1F) programme, Ghana is now net exporter of foodstuffs in Africa
He noted that, his government has constructed a total of 19 new courts across the Country, restored peace in Dagbon and the 7th Parliament passed 50 legislative instruments among many.

According to President Akufo-Addo, discussion on galamsy must be depoliticized. He reiterated that, his next government will consolidate gains made by Ghana.
