GES RECRUITMENT

Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) for the South Tongu District Education Directorate has declared vacancies for massive job recruitments.

The Directorate, in a statement signed by the District Director of Education Evelyn Araba Zentey (Ms) invites applications from qualified serving personnel in the Ghana Education Service for the appointment to the following positions.

Urgent Reminder: GES announces first term vacation date for Basic Schools

1. Unit Head of Administration and Finance Unit

2. District Training Officer

3. Higher Institution Officer

4. Research and Records Officer

5. Environmental and Science Officer

6. Basic School Headteacher

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE FOR POSITION 1, ABOVE,

i. The applicant must be a Professional Graduate Teacher

ii. Applicants must be on the rank of Assistant Director 1 or above and must have been on the rank for a minimum of two (2) years.

iii. Applicant must have a satisfactory conduct and credible work history.

iv. Applicant must be computer literate

GES approved measures to ensure discipline in schools: Alternatives for caning

FOR POSITION 2, 3, 4, 5 AND ABOVE

i. The applicant must be a Professional Graduate Teacher

ii. Applicants must be on the rank of Assistant Director II or above and must have been on the rank for a minimum of two (2) years.

iii. Applicant must have a satisfactory conduct and credible work history.

iv. Applicant must be computer literate

FOR POSITION 6 ABOVE

i. Applicant must be a Professional Graduate Teacher

ii. Applicant must be on the rank of Principal Superintendent

iii. Applicant must have satisfactory conduct and credible work history

iv. Applicant must be a computer literate
