The stool fathers, King makers and elders of the Toh/Tovie Clan of Mafi in the Central Tongu District of the Volta Region, on Monday 16th of August through the Maklalo of Mafi; Togbe Brentua Asafo announced to the knowledge of the general public the ancestral journey of Togbe Kwasinyi Agyemang IV to his ancestors.
According to the stool fathers, Togbe was enthroned in November 1974 and per this record, Togbe Kwasinyi Agyemang had reigned for 46 years as the Overlord of Mafi Adidome and the Toh/Tovie Clan.
Togbe passed on to eternity about a month after his 80th birthday.

Going down memory, some elders recalled how exciting and refreshing it was when Togbe Kwasinyi Agyemang IV took the mantle of leadership. They explained that, most of the chiefs at the time were illiterates hence seeing a graduate emerging at the leadership front triggered happiness across the entire Mafi land.
Togbe is again fondly remembered for his strong personality, bravity and fearless character whose contributions to Mafi is indelible.
He was someone who upheld truth and was willing to die in defense of truth. He was unquestionably intelligent and full of Wisdom academically, socially and Traditionally.
Togbe Kwasinyi Agyemang IV, had his Middle School Education at Mafi-Kumase and sat for his O level certificate.
He later went to Akatsi College of Education and graduated successfully as a professional teacher. Togbe furthered his Education at the University of Ghana, Legon where he read Public Administration.

He worked with organisations such as Immigrants Quota Committee, Human Resource Manager for Ghana Publishing Cooperation which is currently known as Assembly Press
Togbe was a great leader and a family man whose influence was felt everywhere. His good works and thaughts will forever be remembered.

According to the elders, stool father and the family, the official funeral arrangements for the late Togbe Kwasinyi Agyemang IV would be announced in the coming days.
