The leading Pharmaceutical company in Ghana, Tobinco has taken a kind gesture to donate some assorted drugs to the new Volta Regional Hospital in Hohoe.
In a news covered by coverghana.com.gh, Tobinco Pharmaceutical Ltd. has donated some assorted drugs meant for the treatment of malaria largely.
The drugs were donated to mark World Malaria Day on April 25, 2022.
The pharmaceutical company disclosed to Management of the Hospital that, their aim for donating the drugs is to help in combating malaria among the people hence, providing adequate health care to the people through their donations.
The Hospital’s Management received the donations and gave their word of appreciation in speech which was delivered by Dr. Pharm Gideon Drafor.
In his speech, he applauded Pharmaceutical Company and promised to use the drugs for intended purposes.
In following individuals were in attendance for the donation made;
Medical Director of the facility Dr. Ahmed Habibu, the Chief Pharmacist Mr. Christopher Midodzi, Dr. Pharm. Gideon Drafor, Nurse Manager, Miss. Esther Kporwofe, including some Head of Units /or Wards and Staff.
