The University of Cape Coast in charge of Colleges of Education Studies has released re-opening date and examination arrangement for final year students across the forty-six (46) Accredited Public Colleges of Education in Ghana after a consultative engagement with the National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF).
In a letter signed by the Director of the Institute, Professor Christine Adu-Yeboah intercepted by Coverghana.com.gh, the decision was taken in connection with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s directive on re-opening of schools for final year students across the country to prepare for their exit examination after easing restriction on public gatherings on 30th May, 2020.
According to the letter sighted by us, all final year Colleges of Education students are supposed to report to their various colleges on 22nd June, 2020. Revision or Tutorials will take place from 23rd June to 1st July, 2020.
Meanwhile, the Colleges Key in Project Work and Teaching Practice Scores will be determined and released between 30th June, 2020 to 4th July, 2020.
Examination is scheduled to take place on 2nd and 3rd July, 2020 for the final year students to sit for their two papers. All students are expected to depart on 4th July, 2020 after the examination. The statement also categorically stated that, residential marking of scripts will come off between 6th July and 12th July, 2020.
In addition, Awards Committee Meeting is scheduled for 20th July, 2020, Professional Board Meeting will come off on 21st July, 2020 and the publication of results will be done on 23rd July, 2020
