V/R: NDC holds a memorial walk for late Jerry John Rawlings in Ketu South

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Ketu South Constituency in the Volta Region has today, Saturday, 14th November, 2020 organized a memorial walk in memory of the late former president Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings.

The memorial walk spearhead by the National Democratic Congress Parliamentary candidate for Ketu South Mama Abla Dzifa Gomashie is currently underway in the Agbozume township of the Volta Region.

According to the National Democratic Congress, the memorial walk is in honor of their Hero, the Founder of the NDC and former President of the Republic of Ghana His Excellency Jerry John Rawlings.

Announcing the news of Facebook, the Deputy National Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress Mr. Edem Agbana praised Mama Abla Dzifa Gomashie for mobilizing party members, sympathizers, and citizens of the area to honour the former president of the Nation. “Great to see you honor the memory of our late Founder. May God strengthen the entire NDC family.” He said.


The memorial walk in honour of the late NDC’s founder is the first ever in Ghana after the death of Jerry John Rawlings on Thursday, 12th November, 2020 at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Accra.
