The Youth wing of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC in the Volta Region under the leadership of Mathias Alagbo popularly known as Kabila has embarked on a COVID-19 outreach program at Aflao in the Volta Region.
The outreach titled “Operation Protect the Youth and the Vulnerable against COVID-19” initiative set out to educated the public against the coronavirus and it’s preventive measures. During the outreach, the youth wing distributed 8000 pieces of facemasks and hundreds of liquid soaps to residents, people in the Aflao, Agbozume and Denu Junction markets, transport yards in the Aflao to Agbozume area.
During the outreach, the Youth Organizer of the NDC in the region Mr. Mathias Alagbo explained that, the region wide initiative is in line with the directive of former President John Dramani Mahama’s call for all Ghanaians to contribute through advocacy and material support to help fight the covid-19 pandemic.
Present at the outreach program on Saturday 24th may, 2020 was the NDC Volta Regional Youth Organizer Mathias Alagbo (Kabila), the Deputy National Youth Organizer Comrade Ruth Dela Seddor, the Deputy National Communication Officer Comrade Godwin Ako Gun, Parliamentary Candidate for the area Hon Dzifa Abla Gomashie and the constituency executives of the area.
The regional youth organizer was grateful to all stakeholders who kindly and generously contributed towards the success of the out program.
