The Volta Regional Minister Dr. Archibald Letsa has on 14th October, 2020 cut sod for the construction of 142 shops and ancillary facilities at the Ho Central Market.

Dr. Letsa in his interaction with the media disclosed that, the project which he cuts sod for will be completed by March 2021..

According to the Regional Minister, the project is part of the Ghana Secondary Cities Support Programme, a World Bank support programme for 25 selected Municipal Assemblies in the Country.

We’ve began joint security operations to restore calm and rescue arrested police – Dr. Letsa 

Dr. Archibald Letsa again said, the project is in furtherance of efforts to modernize the Ho Central market.

He therefore used the sod cutting occasion to entreat citizens and residents of the Volta Region to support the New Patriotic Party government in safeguarding the peace and security of the Region by being on the look out for and reporting to the Security and Intelligence Agencies any person or group of persons who intend to disrupt the relative peace in the Region.

In his remarks, he entreated the people of Ho and patronizers of the Ho Central Market to rally behind Preaident Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who has the transformation of the market, within the next four years, at heart.

The Municipal Chief Executive of Ho, Mr. Prosper Pi-Bansah assisted me in the sod cutting for the construction of 142 shops and ancillary facilities at the Ho Central Market.
