The MMDCEs Vetting Committee Reports for shortlisted applicants have been leaked. The reports which were forward to the office of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has captured a number of applicants who were shortlisted for nomination.

Any of the selected will be of good choice to the constituency. The two choices all understand the local government system operations. They both have an in-depth knowledge of the dynamics of the constituency. They both have good relationships with the youth, chiefs, the PC and the MCE.
Ing. Felix Tetteh is the current Constituency Secretary. He is a former Treasurer, 2014-2018. He is also a Government Appointee to the Assembly and a former Electoral Area Coordinator (Dengla/Afieye and Laakoi), 2008-2013. He holds the following educational qualifications: PhD Candidate (Civil Engineering), Atlantic International University; 2020- 2023; Masters in Project Management, AIT (OUM, Malaysia), 2012-2014 and BSc Civil Engineering, Kaaf University College (KNUST; 2010-2012).
Samuel Okoe Amanquah has played the following political roles: was the 2020 Deputy Campaign Manager; member of the Fund Raising Committee and a member of the Campaign Team (2004 – 2020).
