Breakdown of Finance Ministry’s Financial Clearance for Recruitment

Information available to Coverghana.com.gh indicates that, the Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Finance has announced Financial Clearance for Recruitment of persons into the Government/Public Sector.
According to the information picked, a total of eleven thousand, eight hundred and forty (11,840) Financial Clearance have been issued by the Ministry of Finance.
The Financial Clearance issued is classified under six (6) categories for the recruitment of qualified persons.

Below is the full categories of Financial Clearance for Recruitment of people detailed by the Ministry of Finance.
1. NATIONAL SECURITY
According to the information, a total of two hundred and forty (240) persons will be recruited into the National Security
2. GHANA EDUCATION SERVICE (GES)
A total of six hundred (600) Financial Clearance have been secured to recruit qualified staff into the Ghana Education Service (GES). Note that, the Ghana Education Service has earlier invited applications to recruit some IT/ICT coordinators into the Service to cover the 600 financial clearance secured. Currently, the Ministry of Education has presented a total list of 40,093 graduates (both from the Colleges of Education and University Graduates) to the Ministry of Finance seeking financial clearance to be recruited into the Ghana Education Service.
According to the Deputy Minister of Finance Hon. Abena Asare Osei, the financial clearance for the 40,093 graduates (both teaching and non teaching staff) requested by the Ministry of Education will be released in November, 2021.

3. GHANA PRISON SERVICE
The Ministry of Finance has announced a total of two thousand (2,000) Financial Clearance for Recruitment into the Ghana Prison Service
4. GHANA POLICE SERVICE
Financial Clearance for five thousand (5,000) persons have been secured for Recruitment into the Ghana Police Service.
5. GHANA IMMIGRATION SERVICE
For Immigration Service, two thousand (2,000) Financial Clearance was secured for Recruitment of officers.

6. GHANA FIRE SERVICE
The Ministry of Finance has announced a total of two thousand (2,000) Financial Clearance to recruit qualified officers into the Service.
Note that, the expiring Date of the Financial Clearance is 31st December, 2021.
