GNAT Elections: “The Humble Leader” David Kattah files; Unveils rich profile

Mr. David Kattah, popularly called by many teachers as “The Humble Leader” has filed for a reelection as the Volta Regional Chairman of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT).

He has filled his nomination for reelection as the Volta Regional Chairman following the invitation of application from qualified persons by the Ghana National Association of Teachers Elections Committee (GNATEC).

The National Board Chairman of Teachers’ Fund has had a massive endorsement from many teachers across the country especially, teachers in the Volta Region due to his selfless, sacrificial and committed leadership in the ranks and files of GNAT for decades.

Mr. David Kattah was first elected as the Volta Regional Chairman in July 2017 at a Regional Delegates’ Conference in Ho, Ghana.

According to the GNAT Constitution, each elected executive at the Regional level is limited to serving two elected four-year terms (8years). This qualifies the humble, strategic, experienced and development oriented “Grassroot leader” Mr. David Kattah to seek for his second term as the Volta Regional Chairman.

Some teachers who spoke to off camera believe that, Mr. David Kattah is the man Volta teachers are yearning for in the upcoming Regional Delegates’ Conference. They indicated that, he is a lobbyist, visionary leader and has Volta Region teachers at heart hence must be voted for massively.

David Kattah is currently a DEPUTY DIRECTOR in the Ghana Education Service (GES) and an Assistant Headmaster in charge of Administration in Peki Senior High School since August, 2019. He is happily married and has four children. He has held numerous leadership positions in GNAT and outside GNAT. He is therefore calling on all accredited teachers to the 2021 Volta Regional Delegates’ Conference to retain him as the Regional Chairman for another four year term.
