National Union of Tongu Students and Associates (NUTSA) has awarded the Member of Parliament for South Tongu Constituency Hon. Kobena Mensah Woyome for his positive contributions towards education in South Tongu District.
The Leadership of the Union from both the NUTSA SRC and National Secretariat presented a citation to the Member of Parliament on Tuesday, 9th May, 2023 at Dabala Junction Pentecost Church, in appreciation for his educational interventions.
According to the leadership of the Union, the MP has been supporting the Union’s educational activities organized for Basic Schools and Senior High Schools across the three Tongu Districts, especially South Tongu.

The Union also indicated that, the Member of Parliament has contributed tremendously towards education in the District by supplying some teaching and learning materials, furniture, and other educational logistics to pre-tertiary institutions, and the South Tongu Education Directorate to support academic works.
In view of the above, the Union honoured the MP with a citation and called on him to continue his educational interventions in the District.

The citation given to the Member of Parliament, Hon. Kobena Mensah Woyome reads;
“In recognition of your hard work, passion and commitment towards improving quality and sustainable education in South Tongu Constituency, the leadership of NUTSA presents you with this citation as someone who has greater compassion towards education.”

In a response, Hon. Woyome pledges his full support towards the Union’s educational activities within the District.
He also assured the students, that, his outfit shall continue to deliver his mandate at the education sector in best interest of all.

He again promised that, his office will ensure that, the needed educational logistics and infrastructure are provided across the schools in the area.
